P4C

P4c stands for philosophy for children philosophy means: " the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence."

We have looked at questions like would you take power or pleasure? and would you choose friendship or wealth?

Today we talked about whether you can lie to yourself? These are hard questions that have no clear right or wrong answer. We do this as mental edge to help us sharpen up our thinking skills and to listen to others ideas and to justify our own answers.

People to people interactions mind map

Here is my photograph of people to people interactions at home in a mind map. At Karate, gym, swimming, school and enrich are the places I go regularly and find lots of interactions. I realised how many different interactions there are from people to people.

Tessellation

Hello here is my tessellation I did in one of the workshops today. A tessellation is an image repeated again, again and again with no space in between each image or any overlapping.

We started by looking at other tessellations by people like M.C Escher. We talked about how the picture needs to be repeated. I started drawing some lines and came up with this design for my tessellation, it is rockets.

From the results it shows I am number smart, this means that you're good at using numbers and I am self smart. This means you know a lot about your self. We will explore these more so that we understand more about what they mean and how to develop our smarts overall.

Robert you worked very hard on the animations you created and you showed great determination and perseverance in the course of making these, and you were always striving for accuracy in the set and scenery. You clearly learnt a great deal about not only animations, but also about the pitfalls of making them over a prolonged period, but no matter what happened you worked through it and continued to apply yourself to your project and produce some great animations. Well done.
