Crackle crackle

This morning I have crackle painted Drago. Soon I will be touching up the copper. When you apply the crackle paint you put two colors on. First you put the gold on then you put the black on while the gold is still wet then it
cracks.

Art talent development

Hi Robert
You have done a great job of your dragon so far and I have been really impressed with the way you problem solved and persevered when you were making the wings. He will look great when he is finished so keep up the hard work!

It is a dragon.
So far I have made the legs and the tail of the dragon. To give it shape I made it out of newspaper and rolled it tight then covered it in paper tape.
First I am making a skeleton made of paper then I will coat it with two layers of paper mache.

Teacher comment

Robert your passion project got off to a rocky start but you overcame this and worked hard to finish it really well and I was really impressed with the way you coped with the variety of set backs that you faced and how you over came these to produce your earthquake safety movie. Not only was I impressed with your resilience, determination and problem solving but also I was also very pleased to see you blogging far more regularly. Great effort Robert. Well done.

P4C

Today I did P4C. P4C stands for Philosophy for children. This P4C workshop was about can small things that make a difference. We watched a video about a guy who is careless and him again being careful. Our main question was "can small things make a big difference?"
Please post a comment about what you think and why you think it. Remember this; there is no right or wrong answer.

P4C

P4c stands for philosophy for children philosophy means: " the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence."
We have looked at questions like would you take power or pleasure? and would you choose friendship or wealth?
Today we talked about whether you can lie to yourself? These are hard questions that have no clear right or wrong answer. We do this as mental edge to help us sharpen up our thinking skills and to listen to others ideas and to justify our own answers.

People to people interactions mind map

Here is my photograph of people to people interactions at home in a mind map. At Karate, gym, swimming, school and enrich are the places I go regularly and find lots of interactions. I realised how many different interactions there are from people to people.

Tessellation

Hello here is my tessellation I did in one of the workshops today. A tessellation is an image repeated again, again and again with no space in between each image or any overlapping.
We started by looking at other tessellations by people like M.C Escher. We talked about how the picture needs to be repeated. I started drawing some lines and came up with this design for my tessellation, it is rockets.

Multiple Intelligences

Hello and welcome to my blog for 2011.
Here are my results to my multiple intelligences quiz.
From the results it shows I am number smart, this means that you're good at using numbers and I am self smart. This means you know a lot about your self. We will explore these more so that we understand more about what they mean and how to develop our smarts overall.
